My first ever online book purchase.

Weekend

No Friday picture- just didn't get round to it. Saturday was spent traipsing around shops trying to spend money and coming back with just an eye shadow.

Sunday morning wasted on reading a best-seller which, despite being a page-turner, left me vaguely unsatisfied. The conclusion was too neat. And I don't know any woman who wears thick tights under jeans.

Craving stodge

Today's picture is my healthy dinner. I should feel virtuous, but I don't. I just want something stodgy and satisfying. What I'm really craving is sea pie.

I can do tech stuff, me

I updated my phone! This is a big deal as I had tried previously with no success (backing up for hours and hours and hours, then finally "not responding"). Today the whole process took about an hour and a half. Plus another half an hour to download all my previous apps from the magical cloud. I took the opportunity to declutter my apps at the same time.

My knitting has stalled already as I have run out of wool. So far I have 10 complete diamonds, and I think I need 25.

My latest work-in-progress: a diamond patchwork knitted blanket for my bed. This will take some time as there aren't many places to buy wool locally, and I'm on my last ball. Don't know when I'll get a chance to buy more. Watch this space.
